What Cwebhook is
Cwebhook is a technical webhook-routing middleware. We receive HTTP POST JSON payloads and route
them to the customer's own authorised cTrader Open API connection. We are not a broker, we do not
provide financial advice or trading signals as a product, and we do not custody customer funds.
Personal data we collect
- Account data — such as cTrader login / username, email address (where provided),
password hash, account type (demo/live), and subscription status.
- Technical connection data — OAuth tokens and related credentials needed to
connect to the customer's authorised cTrader account; broker/account identifiers; webhook API
key.
- Service usage data — webhook payloads and logs, activity history, symbol
preferences, notification preferences (for example Telegram opt-in), support messages, and
similar operational records.
- Billing data — subscription plan, expiry, and identifiers shared with our
payment / Merchant of Record provider. Card details are processed by the payment provider
(for example Whop); we do not store full card numbers.
- Website technical data — IP address, browser/device information, and basic
server logs needed for security and availability.
Why we process data (purposes & lawful bases)
- To provide the Service (contract) — create and secure accounts, route webhooks,
maintain OAuth connections, show dashboard activity, and provide support.
- To bill and manage subscriptions (contract / legitimate interests) — process
payments via our Merchant of Record, record entitlement, and handle refunds or cancellations.
- Security and abuse prevention (legitimate interests) — protect accounts, detect
fraud, rate-limit abuse, and keep systems secure.
- Legal obligations — respond to lawful requests and keep necessary business
records.
- Optional communications (consent or soft opt-in where permitted) — product or
service updates. You can opt out of marketing via
cwebhook.com/support.
Who we share data with
We do not sell personal data. We share data only as needed with:
- Infrastructure providers — hosting, databases, email delivery, and monitoring
used to run cwebhook.com.
- Payment / Merchant of Record providers — currently Whop Inc. when you purchase
via Whop, who process payments and related tax/receipt data under their own terms and privacy
notice.
- cTrader / Spotware Open API — to authorise and deliver payloads to the
customer's own linked brokerage account as instructed by the customer.
- Professional advisers or authorities — where required by law or to establish,
exercise, or defend legal claims.
International transfers
Some providers (including payment platforms) may process data outside the UK. Where required, we
rely on appropriate safeguards such as UK adequacy regulations or standard contractual clauses
offered by those providers.
Retention
We keep account and service logs for as long as the account is active and for a reasonable period
afterwards for security, dispute, and accounting purposes. Billing records may be retained longer
where required for tax or legal reasons. You may request deletion subject to those obligations.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR you may have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict, or object to certain
processing, and to data portability. To exercise these rights, use

You may also complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office (ICO).
Cookies
We use essential cookies or similar technologies required for login sessions, security (including
CSRF protection), and basic site operation. We do not use these for third-party advertising
profiling on cwebhook.com.
Children
The Service is intended for adults who can form a binding contract and is not directed at children.
